Ways You Can Partner

Partnership Opportunities

AFN may work with partners in several appropriate ways. Each relationship should be documented and approved before it is publicly announced.

Financial Sponsorship

Businesses, foundations, organizations, and individuals may provide charitable financial support for youth

wages, instruction, supplies, transportation, facilities, exhibitions, and program operations.

In-Kind Contributions

Art suppliers, retailers, printers, transportation providers, food-service businesses, facility owners, and other organizations may contribute goods or services at no cost or at a reduced rate.

Facilities and Space

Schools, colleges, churches, community centers, galleries, studios, and cultural institutions may discuss providing suitable space for instruction, meetings, storage, supervised activities, or exhibitions.

Professional Expertise

Artists, educators, designers, museum professionals, arts administrators, youth-development specialists, and other qualified individuals may support curriculum planning, instruction, demonstrations, portfolio development, or exhibition preparation.

Community and Cultural Partnerships

Museums, galleries, arts organizations, neighborhood associations, libraries, cultural institutions, and community groups may help connect youth with local history, public art, community stories, and appropriate exhibition opportunities.

Career-Exploration Partnerships

As AFN develops future programs, unions, apprenticeship centers, training organizations, employers, and skilled professionals may discuss career presentations, training-center visits, union-hall visits, and limited supervised job-site observation

Recognizing Those Who Help

AFN may recognize confirmed sponsors and partners in ways appropriate to the level and nature of their support. Recognition may include:

  • Listing on the AFN website.
  • Recognition in approved program materials.
  • Acknowledgment at a public exhibition or community event.
  • Logo placement when authorized by the sponsor and approved by AFN.
  • Recognition in donor or sponsor communications.
  • Program updates showing how support was used

Recognition does not give a sponsor control over AFN’s governance, employment decisions, curriculum, participant selection, safety policies, or charitable mission unless a separate written agreement expressly provides otherwise.

Support Beyond the Art Academy

AFN seeks partnerships that are safe, lawful, respectful, and consistent with its charitable purpose. Before announcing a partnership, AFN should confirm: • The partner’s role and contribution.

  • Any conditions attached to the support.
  • Whether written permission is required to use the partner’s name or logo.
  • Who is responsible for supervision, transportation, facilities, insurance, and safety.
  • Whether background checks or other screening requirements apply.
  • How donated funds, supplies, services, or facilities may be used.
  • How either party may end or revise the arrangement.

AFN should not describe informal discussions as confirmed partnerships. Public recognition should begin only after the relationship has been approved and documented
